How to Customize the Transparent Background of a PNG File

When you import an image in PNG format, the default color of the transparent background is white.

This can cause visualization difficulties when your media are white, such as logos.

In the administration interface, it is possible to customize the transparency color of all PNG files.

To do this, go to Settings > Pre-generated thumbnails.

Under the list of thumbnails, the "Thumbnail background in case of transparency" option allows you to customize the color. Click on the button 

A pop-up window will open offering two choices:

• a checkerboard
• a field to select the color of your choice.

Attention!
Changing the background will not apply retroactively to already generated thumbnails.
To apply this change to your existing media, use the "Regenerate Thumbnails" function on the selection of items with transparency
