Generate a QR code to a thumbnail or original file

A QR code is comparable to a 2-dimensional barcode. It can contain a wide range of information, such as a link to a website that can be ‘flashed’ by a smartphone or tablet.

To generate a QR code for a thumbnail of an item or its original file:

1. Open the list of items of your choice (folder, basket, import wall, etc.).
2. Open the item of your choice.
3. Open the Broadcast menu.
4. Open the Links to thumbnails tab.
5. Click on the icon at the end of the line to download the QR code image. The original file is also available if the user has the necessary rights.

The thumbnail is available even if the item is archived or trashed.
