Checking for duplicates when importing a file

Duplicate checking is automatic as soon as a file is imported. The search for duplicates is based on the digital fingerprints of the original files for all file types.

Each imported file is compared with all those in the file plan (even if the user does not have access to all the folders).

If at least one file is detected as identical in the file plan, a duplicate icon is displayed under the thumbnail of the new item, which is then considered to be a duplicate.
