Importing 3D files
Starting from version 4.101.0, it is now possible to integrate 3D assets into Keepeek.
List of accepted extensions:
- Android glTF 2.0 (.glb/.glTF)
- iOS (.usdz)
- Wavefront Object (.obj)
- FBX Format, both ASCII and binary (.fbx)
- Maya (.mb)
- Stereolithography (.stl)
- Collada (.dae)
- Stanford Polygon Library (.ply)
- Extensible 3D (.x3d/.x3db)
- 3D Studio Max 3DS (.3ds)
A default thumbnail will be applied to easily identify 3D media files.
If the user has HD download rights for these media, they can download the original 3D file.
3D Player
For glb/glTF and usdz files, it will also be possible, from the Backoffice → Item Detail, to preview the item in 3D. The player will allow manipulation of the viewing angle and zoom around the 3D file. The player is also available in the public sharing details (link to detail AND to the file) and the public basket sharing.
Integration
As an integrator, you will have access to a web component player to embed a 3D player for the 3D media of your instance.
